If you want to drive from the UK the roads are excellent and relatively traffic free compared to home. The distances to the Northern Costa Blanca and the Jalon Valley are as follows:
Santander - 865kms (537 miles)
Caen - 1560kms (969 miles)
Calais - 1800kms (1118 miles)
The route through France is a beautiful tourist route and at the French/Spanish border you follow the AP-7 via Barcelona enjoying the views of the Mediteranean sea from time to time. Approximately 1 hour south of Valencia you will reach the Costa Blanca North, Jalon and the villas.

By plane
There are many low cost flights of around 2½ hours (depending on departure airport) from the United Kingdom to the airports of Valencia and Alicante. Both airports are only around 1 hour by car to the villas.
